Animal Control Officer
The Coles County Animal Control facility is looking for a Full Time dedicated team member. Applicants MUST BE –at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver license, be available for full time, as well as available for 24 hour emergency response, and be able to lift 50+ lbs. Good communication skills are a plus! Tasks will include enforcing state and local laws/regulations, stray animal capturing, general animal handling, kennel cleaning, and other various jobs around the facility. Starting wage is $16.00.
