Jackie Chism

Jackie Chism has been with Coles County Regional Planning & Development Commission for 14 years. Jackie has lived in Charleston most of her life and has strong ties to the community. She was married in 2018 and she and her husband enjoy traveling together and raising their 2 dogs.

Education

Jackie is a 2000 graduate of Charleston High School and went on to receive her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Lake Land College on a tuition waiver and scholarship she received for academic achievement.

Work Experience

After working 8 years in financial institutions, both as a Teller and Assistant Supervisor, Jackie came to work for Regional Planning as an Administrative Assistant in February of 2011. She was promoted to Community Planner in March of 2018 and now assists with administering our various housing rehabilitation grants and planning projects.
