Noah Spence

Noah Spence has been with Coles County Regional Planning & Development Commission for 13 years. Noah is married and currently lives in Charleston, IL.


Education

Noah Spence is a 2011 graduate of Lake Land College with an Associate's Degree in Earth Science and 2013 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a minor in GIS and concentration in Spatial Analysis.


Work Experience

Noah started with CCRP&DC as an intern through Lake Land College during the Summer of 2011. Noah oversees GIS & IT in the courthouse as well as many of our other offices in the county. Some of his projects include: Utility Mapping in Mattoon & Arthur, IL, creation and maintenance of the County's Enterprise GIS system, serving as a Data Steward & Maintainer for NG911 data, and the complete redesign, implementation, and maintenance of the County's website.


Professional Affiliations

Noah was a member of the Geography Honors Society, Gamma Theta Upsilon, at Eastern Illinois University. He is also a member of the Illinois GIS Association.
