The Communicable Disease Program promotes optimal health among Coles County residents by preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases. We conduct investigations for the diseases reportable to the Illinois Department of Public Health including, but not limited to: Hepatitis A, B, and C, Meningitis, Salmonella, Giardia, TB, and Pertussis (whooping cough).
